My Favorite Makeup Removers

For today's entry, i'm going to give a review about my favorite makeup removers that I've been wearing for a long time.

What it claims?

How to use?
- Apply onto face, eyes and lips with some cotton pads without rubbing.
- No rinsing required.

What it claims?

How to use?
- Gently wipes over eyelids, face, lips and neck.
- Hold the wipes over stubborn areas for a few seconds before wiping.




My thoughts :
I always use these 2 makeup removers when i want to take-off my makeup. I used the Garnier bila ada dekat rumah sebab nak tap-tap guna cotton pad je.

This Garnier comes with two bottles, one with pink cap and another one with blue cap. This pink cap is suitable for normal and sensitive skin while the blue cap is suitable for acne and oil control.

Kalau yang Simple pulak selalu bring along when i'm not at home so usually memang akan sentiasa ada dalam handbag lah sebab senang nak guna because tisu je tak payah la nak kena bawak botol pastu nak tuang atas cotton pad bagai.

Before guna Simple, i used the one from SaSa tapi tak ingat apa namanya but it's so mehh because banyak sangat buih rasa macam tak selesa bila guna. Tapi yang Simple ni serious memang best sebab tak berbuih, and makeup senang sangat nak tanggal eventhough waterproof. The tissue itself quite big so memang kalau yang jenis pakai makeup tebal-tebal guna satu wipe pun dah cukup.

And before guna Garnier ni i used the one from Maybelline yang warna biru tu. That one okay la but it's too oily rasa macam berminyak or sticky macam tu so agak tak selesa but the result ok la. But compared to this Garnier memang the best lah sebab dia macam air kosong tapi ada magik tau. Tak melekit, rasa macam air kosong je.


Pros for these two :
- No artificial perfume
- No alcohol, no parabens
- Dermatologically tested
- Removes waterproof makeup
- Gentle
- Leaves clean feel

Today i'm going to review about my go-to palette.

My thoughts :
At first, i bought this palette because the packaging is so pretty. Other than that, i also read a lot of good review about it so why not give it a try right?

Amazingly the result is awesome. I really love this palette! It blends easily and doesn't crease. The colors are highly pigmented and it comes with 12 shades which i think quite a lot. I usually mix Sweetheart and Rebel colors together.

I usually apply this eyeshadow after priming my eyelid using a Pure Mineral Concealer because i don't have an eyeshadow primer but it's okay because it works as well.

What i love about it because the color itself. For me, we can create a nude to smokey eyelook because the range of shades are so pretty and trendworthy.

I always bring this palette when i go out somewhere because i think it's not that big to bring along and it comes with a mirror which is sooo convenient.



Pros :
- Easy to blend
- Highly pigmented
- Crease resistant
- Great color
- Dermatologist tested
- Formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfates and gluten.
- So convenient to bring when travel because it comes with a mirror
- Pretty packaging!
- Nice smell (bau coklat rasa mcm nak makan haha)

Bottom line :
Yes, i would recommend this!



Overall, i can rate this palette 5.0/5.0 because it's really good!

Online Shopping at FashionValet

Assalamualaikum everyone!

I've been wanting to buy a scarf at FashionValet a few days ago before they're having a 24 hours

 30% sale on every items except ada beberapa items yang tak. 

I'm so glad tak beli waktu diorang tak buat sale sebab girllll it's so freaking expensive for me! Fikir 23456 kali last-last rasa macam erm takpelah takyah beli lagi lah. 

Fortunately, on Wednesday (12/7) diorang buat sale ni and i got the notifications about this on 11/7 and i was like 'erm confirm diorang dah shopping sakan midnight tu and most fav items mesti dah oos' so i just ignore it. Pagi rabu tu macam ada rasa nak bukak website dia and bila bukak my scarf yang i dah memang aim nak beli a few days ago tu still in stock! I was like 'oh i have to buy it! I have to buy it!' 

Dari RM130 (inc GST) dapat RM91 je

I personally tak suka payment method FV ni because it's quite confusing especially for first timer like me.
Ceritanya macam ni, i dah pilih payment method through Visa suddenly i nak tukar so tekan back but then dekat status order dah pending sedangkan blom buat payment.

Dah panik ni sebab taktau macam mana nak proceed buat payment, i just click to the FAQs section and rupanya memang dah biasa jadi macam ni so diorg suruh contact customer service. I just email to them but diorang akan cancel order kita and kita kena place order baru tapi diorang tak guarantee lah item yang kita nak tu still available or not.

So memandangkan waktu tu tgh sale takutlah habis sementara nak tunggu diorang cancel order tu so fikir cara lain, i register my FV account under email lain and place order baru. Settle!

And tak lama lepas tu, diorg email kata dah cancel kan order tadi tu tapi ignore je la kan.

I buat payment through manual transfer then after dah buat tu email kat diorg screenshot macam bukti lah tapi sebenarnya diorang ada je dapat email sbb waktu buat payment tu dah isi dah notice them by email.

I received my order on 17/7/2017. I think it's quite fast.

Banyak gila sampul duit raya FV kasi tapi raya dah nak habis so tunggu tahun depan la plk ok so siapa nak sampul duit raya FV datang rumah beraya tahun depan ok haha tapi theme lain dah la sbb FV setiap kali raya theme berlainan.

So dalam box tu ada benang mengikut warna tudung kita kalau dUCk charm tu tercabut so boleh jahit sendiri kalau malas/jauh nak pergi store dia kan.

Every dUCk scarf purchase comes beautifully wrapped in its own hard casing with a personalised thank you card from D, so they would be great as gifts too!

Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation

I'm such a type of person who don't wear much makeups so this is my first ever foundation that i have.
I bought this foundation sebab ramai review kata best #mudahterpengaruh haha

First of all, i'm a normal skin type person. So rasanya review ni lebih kepada normal skin type lah :)

What it claims?

Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless from Maybelline goes beyond skin tone matching to fit the unique texture issues of normal to oily skin for the ultimate natural skin fit. While some foundations can exaggerate pores and oily skin, only Maybelline's pore-minimizing foundation contains their genius blurring micro-powders that erase pores and absorb oil for a naturally matte and poreless-looking finish.

How to use?

- Apply foundation onto skin.

- Blend with fingertips or an applicator.

In Malaysia, it comes with 12 shades and i'm in the shade 120 Classic Ivory.

My thoughts :

I already used this foundation for a several times. As for coverage, it does say lightweight, and that it is. It suits me well and i love it!

But I think this foundation did nothing to hide any acne scars or pores even though the name itself is 'pore-less'. And, i've tried using this foundation for like 9 hours and i can say this foundation will look cakey and not long lasting. I'm a normal skin type person but it still look cakey on my face when my face getting oily.

To sum up, i wouldn't use this foundation for girls with acne, scars, pores, etc..because it neither hid not covered anything. Also, people who have a dry skin type really not suitable to use this foundation to avoid from seeing a dry patches on your skin because it is a matte finish.

And also, for people who have a veryyyy bad oily skin type, this foundation is not for you because it does not long-lasting and still can be greasy and cakey on your face.

It is also oxidized so make sure pilih shade yang one or two shades lighter than your skin color .

I recommend it to people with healthy, normal to oily skin, who want a light coverage foundation for daily use. It's perfect for that purpose I have to agree.

Pros :

- Blends well

- Easy to apply

- Natural looking

- Dermatologist and allergy tested
- Does not clog pores
- Oil-free

- Lightweight
- Affordable

Cons :
- Do not have a pump so kena lebih berhati-hati waktu nak tuang kat tangan tu takut terlebih

- A bit difficult to remove if you're not using makeup remover
- Not contain SPF
- Not long-lasting

Bottom line :

Yes, i would recommend this especially for people who have a normal to oily skin type.

Overall, i can rate this foundation 4.4/5.0

My First Experience on Shopping at Padini.com

Hi & assalamualaikum!

I hope it's not too late for me to wish Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all muslims out there :)

In this post, I'm going to review about my experience on shopping at Padini.com.

Actually, I just can go walk-in to their stores but the handbag that i was looking for is always do not have a color that i wanted so i've to buy it through their website because it only available there.

I've placed my order on 3rd of July and have received it on 8th of July. It's quite fast i think.

*Actually a dress that i bought is just to make a shipping fee FREE anyway it only costs 10 bucks and i think it worth it than splurge it to the shipping fee that cost RM15 and the grand total would be RM129 instead of RM134. So worth it right?*

Mine is via online banking which is Maybank2u.

After your order has successful, they will give you a reference number in case you want to check your progress of your order

After 4 days (6th July), i received an email from Padini.com that informed me that my order has been shipped out.

It was shipped by GDex

I try to check on their website and my status has completed. 

I received this parcel in a good condition.

They also gave me a RM20 off voucher but can only be used through online.

Here are some pros and cons of their service.

 Pros : 

- The website is userfriendly.

- Reachable

- Fast shipping

- Good packaging

Cons :

- In my case, they do not show the details of the bag like the size / what material they use.

- Padini.com can only send orders to street address in Malaysia. They do not deliver to P.O. Box address which mean no International shipping.

Bottom line :

Overall, i can rate Padini.com 4 out of 5!

My favorite Silkygirl Matte Junkie Lip Cream

So for this entry, i would like to give a review about my favorite drugstore lip cream which is Silkygirl Matte Junkie Lip Cream. It availables in 9 rich and highly pigmented shades; 01 Retro, 02 Glamour, 03 Rebel, 04 Vintage ; 05 Vixen. ; 06 Darling, 07 Dolly, 08 Artsy and 09 Rouge to complete your matte looks! But mine is only 2 shades which is 01 Retro and 04 Vintage.

What it claims?

This kissproof and transfer resistant lipcolor applies like a liquid lipstick that dries to a matte finish. It stays on your lips through day and night activities requiring minimal touch-ups.

Scents?
Smell like something mint.

My thoughts :

It is very pigmented, waterproof and indeed long-lasting. As long as the food i eat isn’t too oily, it will stay perfect. I usually apply a lip balm first before applying this lip cream. The only small downside is that it does accentuate the wrinkles on my lips and can get a tiny bit dry. Otherwise, absolutely great for the price and will definitely buy more. 

Pros :

- Long-lasting, tapi kalau minyak tu of course hilang sikit.

- Waterproof, susah nak hilang kalau kena air.

- Lightweight, don't feel like wearing anything on your lips.

- Very pigmented, apply once and you're good to go!

- Quick dry, takyah tunggu lama terus jadi matte.

- Kissproof, which mean it does not transfer to your glass or anything.

Cons :

- Too dry(nama pun matte kan), not suitable for people who have a very very dry lips.

- Need to use makeup remover to remove this or else kena tonyoh bibir tu guna air lebih sikit lah.

Bottom line :

Yes, i would recommend this. Overall, i can rate this product 4.6/5.0

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer

For this entry, i want to give a quick review on this Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer.

Before this, I'm using a Maybelline Pure Mineral Concealer. I read a lot of good review about this Instant Age Rewind so why not give it a try right.

Product name : Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer

Product type : Concealer
Price : RM34.90 

Size : 6 ml

What it claims?

Contains Active Formula and Micro-Corrector Applicator to erase dark circles, puffiness and fine lines instantly. It consists of two shades : #120 Light , #130 Medium

How to use?

- Use applicator to apply concealer directly to under-eye area, blending in an outward motion. 

- Wipe off excess eye concealer with dry tissue only. Do not wet applicator

My thoughts :

I already used this concealer for a several times because it works on me well. It blends easily and have a good coverage to erase my dark circles. 

However, if you want to use it for the first time, you have to twist the collar for a several turns to make the concealer visible on top of the sponge. 

Actually i wanted this concealer for a long time ago but for me it is a bit pricey and yeah i bought it during a sale. Unfortunately, i bought a wrong shade which is Medium but it's okay because it's not that dark on my skin and i still can cover it with my loose powder. 

I usually apply this concealer after applying my primer and I think this concealer is great for daily use!

Pros :

- Blends well

- Easy to apply

- Natural looking

- Long lasting

- Easy to take-off

- Lightweight

Cons :

- Only have two shades in Malaysia

Bottom line :

Yes, i would recommend this.

So today i want to make a quick review on this Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser. Many people said that this Maybelline is a dupe of Benefit POREfessional. I can't give a comparison between this two because i haven't try Benefit POREfessional yet.

What it claims?

It instantly erase pores, imperfections, lines and creases. Skin looks instantly transformed into a perfect smooth canvas.

How to use?
Apply all over face or on concerned areas.

Color / scents? 

Transparent color and for me it has no scent.

My thoughts :

I really love the packaging. The price also really affordable for me as a beginner. It doesn't have any weird smell on it. The texture also very smooth and lightweight. So light until you will forget it's on! It blends well on my skin. I used this primer after applying my skincare and i think this primer suits for everyday use.

Pros :

- Smooth

- Lightweight

- Easy to apply

- Affordable price
- Suitable for all skin tones and types
- Does not clog pores

Cons :

- Poor coverage

Bottom line :

Yes, i would recommend this especially for a beginner.
